We're making enhancements to our network!

At Rivertown Credit Union, we continuously strive to find new and more effective ways to better serve our members and provide the best experience possible. Following a recent partnership with Allegan Credit Union, Rivertown Credit Union is excited to announce an upcoming effort to make enhancements to our core operating system that will allow for better product and service alignment between the two organizations.

Important things to note with this enhancement:

With the alignment of our products, you may notice some of your account suffixes change (these are the numbers at the very end of your member number to designate what type of account you have. For example, the 000 suffix identifies a savings account). This update will not impact your primary member number, your card PINs, or any of your online banking logins or passwords. Very few Rivertown Credit Union accounts will be impacted but you can view the list of new account suffixes here.
Please note that if you take advantage of our Bill Pay service, you will need to update your Bill Pay information to the new account suffixes. To help make this process easier, we’ve created a Bill Payee Data Collection sheet that can be printed and filled out with your payee information. All recurring Bill Pay payments that are set up with the old suffixes will no longer take effect after Friday, August 11, 2023.
Recurring AFT, ACH, and Bill Pay transactions will not be impacted by the update and will continue to post as usual.
If you make any future changes to your IRA with Rivertown Credit Union, please be sure to update the old suffix to the new suffix.
