No more checks floating around your car or kitchen table. With Mobile Deposit, you can take a picture of your check as soon as you get it and it usually clears in the same day.
Using Mobile Deposit
You’ll need to enroll in online banking, download the mobile app, and then call us at (616) 406-2480 and press 1 to speak with a representative. We can get you set up with Mobile Deposit and walk you through any questions you might have.
Once you’ve downloaded our mobile app, you’ll need to enroll. To enroll, Just give us a call at (616) 406-2480 and press 1 to speak with a representative.
Once you’ve enrolled, you can deposit checks with your camera:
1. Endorse the check with your signature and “Mobile Deposit Only”.
2. Open the Rivertown Mobile Banking App.
3. Select Deposit and the account you want to deposit the check into.
4. Enter the amount of the check.
5. Allow the app to use your camera and take a picture of the front and back of the check.
6. Confirm and submit the deposit.
Mobile deposits are processed Monday through Friday. Deposits received before 3:00PM EST will be posted by 5:00PM the same business day. Deposits made after 3:00PM will be posted by 5:00PM the following business day. The first $200 of the deposit will be available on the 1st business day after the deposit posts to your account. The remaining amount will be available on the 2nd business day.
You can use Mobile Deposit to deposit up to $2,000 per day.
Most personal and business checks payable in U.S. dollars and drawn on any U.S. bank are eligible for Mobile Deposit. Mobile Deposit excludes money orders, insurance claim checks, traveler’s checks and credit card advance checks.
